A-Star Annual Golf day August 2014

On arrivall at the Abbey Hotel in Redditch the sun was 
shining from a clear blue sky and good omen for a great day ahead		 A-Star golf day entrance
on the terrace We assembled on the terrace overlooking the 18th green and a very welcome bacon butty was consumed.
The more competative golfers decided to have a few practise swings on the golf range while the first four ball assembled on the first tee.

 The most populart vehicle on the course was the drinks buggy that was stocked with a selection of cold drinks and chocoltae bars.  buggy

 After all the exercise we retired to the tawny bar overlooking the 18th Green and the early finishers cheered on the later arrivals.

 After a couple of cold ones to settle the dust we moved over to the Warwick suite for our evening meal and presentations.

The proffesional was out on the 6th tee and all those that beat his shot we donated £ 20.00 to help for heroes and those that failed donated £ 5.00.  We doubled this amount taking the total to £ 190.00.

We were also given a voucher by the hotel for a 4 ball and we auctioned this raising further £ 200.00 we thnk Pul Barnet for his genorosity and hope he enjopys his game.
