OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Safer roads.Cleaner future.

For us, environmental responsibility is not a slogan. It is a working commitment to understand our impact, improve the way we operate and make better decisions for the communities and places we serve.

WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS

Open about our impact.
Serious about improving it.

OUR PLEDGEMeasure honestly.
Improve continually.
Share our progress.

This page is our public environmental commitment: a clear and honest account of the actions we are taking today, the evidence we use to measure our impact and the improvements we intend to make next.

As a traffic management company, our work helps to keep roads, workers and communities safe. We also recognise that delivering this essential service uses fuel, energy and materials. That creates an environmental responsibility which we take seriously.

Our goal is to understand that impact in greater detail and use reliable information to make better decisions. Through our carbon emissions tracker, ISO 14001 environmental management system and energy-efficiency projects, we are building environmental considerations into the way we plan, review and improve our operations.

We will not present environmental progress as a finished task. This page is designed to show our direction, record meaningful action and remain transparent about the work still ahead. By sharing both our achievements and future ambitions, we want our employees, customers and partners to see that our commitment is practical, measurable and part of how Linear A-Star does business.

OUR AIMReduce avoidable impacts, use resources more efficiently, strengthen compliance and keep raising the standard of responsible traffic management.

MEASURING WHAT MATTERS

SELECTED VIEW · CO₂: 2022–2025

Four years of monthly CO₂ emissions

This graph compares our average monthly carbon emissions across 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Looking at all four years together helps us identify longer-term patterns, seasonal peaks and whether changes in fuel use are translating into a sustained reduction in emissions.

WHAT THIS TELLS USA four-year view gives us a stronger baseline for measuring progress and deciding where further operational improvements are needed.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Things we want to do

Our roadmap is deliberately practical. Each idea will be assessed for impact, feasibility and the value it can create.

01Electric vehicles

Assess where electric vehicles can work effectively across our fleet.

02Track waste

Build a clearer picture of waste streams, volumes and recovery routes.

03Employee commute tracker

Understand how our team travels and where lower-carbon choices can be supported.

04Improve fuel efficiency

Use driving and vehicle data to target better miles-per-gallon performance.

05Responsible offsetting

Investigate credible schemes for emissions we cannot yet avoid.

06Environmental charities

Give back through partnerships that create measurable local benefit.

07Environmental newsletter

Share progress, practical actions and opportunities with our people.

08Signs: plastic vs aluminium

Compare life-cycle impacts to make better-informed material choices.
