Stroud Half Marathon took place on 21st of October,it is one of the longest established half marathons in the UK! A 13.1 mile race.Although not flat, the course is a great place for a fast time. Suitable for racers, recreational runners and novices alike.
We were very pleased to be asked by the event organisers ‘Immortalsports’ to provide the traffic management for the event again.
It started at 9am on Cainscross road (we had closed the roads at 0830 for safety of the runners).
It was a great day, with plenty of sunshine, which made better conditions for the runners.
Congratulations to the winner Andrew Davies who finished in 1:08:05.
